The Praia do Porto-PE Project
Personal note: I´ve been all over the world and I´ve seen beautifull places everywhere. Beautifull huge cities, charming little ones. I´ve seen outstanding luxury cities and fantastic simple and functional cities. I´ve seen rich, poor, new, old, almost jungle, semi desert cities in different places. And I am enchanted with many aspects of cities, places were people live. I am a very observative person and I love to understand why we all do all the different actions we do everyday. And our places reflects the kind of people we are. Allthough my curiosity towards us humans, I do apprecciate our nature with all its beauties.
I am a beach person, despite the fact I was born in a beachless city that is Brasilia, our capital of Brazil. I came to Recife when I was 5 years old. And was raised living by the sea. Playing in the water, sailing, resting, etc...
I admire the scenary, the smell, the sound, it is really a calm place to put our mind to rest.
And I believe every working person like me does think about a place like this and deserves it.
For luck I just found the place and it was just a few miles away from my home.
It is called "Praia do Porto" (Port Beach) and it looks just like the kind of beach burried in our minds, soft white sands, blue-green-warm sea water, smoth breeze, and a small little island with a coconut tree in the middle. This place is really amazing.
And trying to know more about the place I discover that it is waiting for someone to buy it.
I could not buy it, like I said ,I am a working guy but I do not have all that money to buy a beach with a small island included.
So I began to create some kind of business that would keep the natural raw caracteristics of the place so people can enjoy this wonderfull scenary as I did.
And that was when I decided to begin a Resort Project.
Using the land avaible and on sale and try to get people, investment groups and hotels groups interested on this project.
I knew it would and will take a lot of work and time. But I believe it is for the best.
